Kindergartens Nurture Learners
Giving Peace a Chance
Ray of Hope through Work

Of the 5 million people living in Gaza and the West Bank, 43% are under the age of 15. What kind of a future will they have?

Seeds of Hope is working to make a difference in the lives of children and families throughout the Middle East. Our desire is to bring long-term change to families through education, economic development, cultural exchange, and humanitarian aid.

•We help Ahmed, whose birth defect keeps him from digesting mother’s milk or any other, by providing a special, cost prohibitive formula for the first 24 months of his life.

•We help hundreds of kindergarten students like Sajja gain a better understanding of the world through teaching them English and instilling a love for their neighbor by teaching them in a safe, nurturing environment.

•We help friends like Nabila and Abu Nidal start small housekeeping and landscaping businesses which provides their families hope for a future.

•We help young Palestinian men and women learn about democracy, train them in computer skills and teach them English, the language of today’s business world.

•We help Abu Khalil and his family reconstruct the family restaurant business in Jericho. After the end of the Intifada (uprising), the lucrative business of tourism for the people in Jericho is coming back to life and so are the businesses who serve it. Once busy thriving restaurants sat nearly empty while tourism was at its lowest during the years of the intifada. Now the tour buses are beginning to come back to Jericho, and along with it, the need to refurbish these idle restaurants so tourists will once again enjoy the sites to see in Jericho while contributing much needed revenue to the family and community.

•We help Margaret in California, Ted and Fayzah in New York, and Wayne and Aiine in Missouri who all want to make a difference in the lives of Nabila, Shaddi, the children in Gaza, the villagers in Khou ‘zah and the young men and women of Gaza.

In other words we help individuals, families and communities. We help them improve their lives by providing opportunities.
